Anxiety can stem from wanting and depending on things that are not in our control. We wouldn't be anxious if we actually had control over the situation. Anxiety stemming from such reasons is anti-stoic. The way to get rid of this anxiety is to reach a state of awareness so as to know what do we have control over. If we're anxious about a job-interview, we should be aware that the only thing we are in control is our preparation and performance in the interview. There might be hundreds of factors that might affect the outcome of the interview, but only a handful are in your control and that's what you should focus on.
